MaggieMoo's International recently joined with the Emmy-winning ABC-TV program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," donating free ice cream for a year to one very deserving family in Armada Township, Mich., as well as providing a delicious assortment of award-winning super premium ice cream on location for the builders and other volunteers.

4.) TELEHOUSE America: NYIIX and LAIIX Peering Exchanges Continue to See Membership Grow in Second Quarter

The New York Internet Exchange (NYIIX) and The Los Angeles Internet Exchange (LAIIX) continued their steady growth in membership for the second quarter, as more companies opted for public and private peering's economic benefits.

Access IT, Choopa, Dream Tank, Freedom Networks, Interserver, Virgin Radio, MTN and Xand Communications joined the membership ranks of NYIIX, metro New York's largest peering exchange. NYIIX now has ninety-three members.

"Paralleling our growth in peak traffic and membership is the expanded media and entertainment peering opportunities NYIIX and LAIIX offer our members and customers at 25 Broadway ("25B"), 60 Hudson, 111 Eighth, and 626 and One Wilshire. The first quarter of 2006 marked another period of growth in peak traffic volume and membership for The New York Internet Exchange (NYIIX) and The Los Angeles Internet Exchange (LAIIX). This continues 2005's steady gains in these key categories.

At the first quarter's conclusion peak traffic volume at NYIIX scaled the 14 Gbps mark, while LAIIX exceeded 2 Gbps.

Samsung Networks, Zen Internet, Telenor, Altecom, BroadbandONE, Inc. (Host.net), Cable Vision and RNK Telecom became members of metro New York's largest peering exchange, NYIIX.

Additionally, member upgrades were Freenet, Google, Hurricane Electric, Impsat, nLayer and Telewest, located at NYIIX's 25 Broadway ("25B") home base, plus Interoute, which connects to NYIIX's 60 Hudson Street remote switch.

After months of secrecy, New Jersey's My Chemical Romance have finally revealed the title and track listing of their forthcoming album: The Black Parade, which will be released by Reprise Records on October 24th.

The title is the name of the quintet's alter ego on their new record, explains lead singer Gerard Way. "This was a really difficult album for us to make," he says.
